Cinnamon’n’Princes

This month brought two sumptuous additions to my drinking and listening life: coffee with cinnamon and Ninos Dankha, aka. Prince of Assyria.

At the moment, he has the somewhat dubious accolade of providing the background music to the revise-and-revise of my current paper.

Born in Baghdad and raised in Linköping, his work sates the musical craving that has been tickling for months.

Reminiscent of the softer side of Sivert Høyem (on ‘Tliqa’) and a less gruffsome Ray LaMontagne (on ‘Another Love Song’), I’ll be listening to this fellow until the iPad melts in rebellion.

Check out his official site, here and his other works, here.
