Scenes from a Protest

From Istanbul, to be exact.

In recent years images of revolt have become a part of our daily visuals: the television, social and print mediums have made the protester, gas canisters and military aggression part of our discourse.

And yet, as the events unfold in Turkey, the images and actions of the protesters continue to move and evoke power.
