The next two days are dedicated to conflict analyses, as the students deliver their first presentations of the course.

And they have been inspiring thus far, with one even claiming the best Lebanon-in-a-nutshell title.

As the students watch, so do they wait; the names of the presenters are revealed in batches of four, minutes before starting.

And as one student noted, ‘It’s like going to the guillotine and waiting for it to fall.’

Meskine!
