When chemotherapy caused Alyssa Anderson’s hair to fall out, some cop friends took their support to the next level. Instead of losing several inches, à la Locks of Love, six Modesto police officers shaved their heads entirely.
In this case, call it Locks of Law Enforcement.
“I broke down in tears, to realize so many people care,” said Anderson, a 21-year-old Modesto woman who took a break from her studies at California State University, Fresno, to deal with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. [Continues…]
