PhotoHunt 152: Space

This week’s PhotoHunt theme is Space, which is a fabulously frivolous and massively interpretative subject.

On a personal level, the first choice would have been a shot of a beach: the waves stretching off into the horizon, the clean long lines, and the vast sky that renders any beach, anywhere, the perfect location for musing.

Spaces can also be urban and Paris is perhaps the most beautiful example:

Artistically, the architecture and layout provides an abundance of shots in a range of styles that all drip with beauty, elegance, and nostalgia.

This week’s image was captured on Rue de Lubeck in the 16e Arrondissement and while the subject is seemingly mundane (shop awning, cars, apartments) it evokes everyday life in the most divine of capitals.

Which is perfect for an imagination like mine that renders such inane urbanities into the most extravangant and envious musings of an alternative kind.

Am wondering how will that car opposite the street will be able to get out of the tiny space sandwiched between other cars.
