PhotoHunt 147: Furry

This weekend’s PhotoHunt is brought to you courtesy of a dumpster moggy of Amman, one of potentially thousands of cats who dwell in the city’s bins.

The number of cats roaming the streets is simply staggering, and more than a little terrifying when they suddenly get lively as you walk past alone in the dark.

And even more so when they engaged in a raucous mรชlรฉe outside your window at 3 a.m.; the sounds of a cats howling and fighting at night makes my blood run cold.

The sad part is that some, like this one, are so cute that it seems a travesty that they should pass their time matted and wild.

Thanks to the work of charities such as the Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad (SPANA) however, care and treatment is becoming more available.

They are cute, yes – but I agree: The sound of a catfight is just horrible ๐Ÿ˜‰
