PhotoHunt 135: Together

Ah, a sentimental PhotoHunt theme this week: Together.

Being an old cynic, my attempts to turn this on its head and steer clear of anything remotely capable of tweaking the heart strings have been arduous.

But in vain – as I have succumbed to a Hallmark haze and provide the warm theme wrapped in a bow of celebration of friendship, as represented by this delightfully raucous gaggle of children who passed the afternoon tracking us through al-Wihdat refugee camp in Amman, Jordan:

I love this picture purely for the plethora of details: from the adorable little boy peeking from the back, to the mischievous expressions on the front three kids faces.

If you look to the upper right, there is a man on whom I have been dastardly remiss in blogging about, but upon whom, and his endeavours, an entire post shall be made, for his very presence in Amman was remarkable and inspiring.

It must wait for another day, however, as to comprise the works that he – and the organisation that he works for – as a footnote in my weekly PhotoHunt would be churlish – so check back this week for more.

How wonderful to see that boys are boys everywhere you go and under all circumstances. A beautiful photo and I look forward to the story about the man in the photo at a later date.

    My post is up at:
