PhotoHunt 132: Family

This week, Family is the theme du jour for the PhotoHunters, and once more I find myself resisting the urge to post something in keeping with the theme, that is, a good old family photo.

Instead, today’s entry comes from the Nowa Huta district of Krakow, Poland, and comprises an elderly grandmother power-walking her grandchild across an intersection:

Perhaps it was the gap in age between the new-born and the stooped grandmother, or perhaps it was the tenacity with which she was trundling along, her face creased against the afternoon sun.

The two were captivating, in only a way unknown families can be.

Interesting photo. It also depicts a little bit of family duty, lol.

I have some very vintage photos up for my Photo Hunt today! I hope you can get a chance to see and leave your link.
